Better Late Than Never...

So much to catch up on, so little time!  We were saddened for Zoey to go to a sweet new little family.  We just felt like we couldn't give her the attention we felt she needed, so Zoey is living happily, indoors, with another family close by.  They were so nice and send pictures for Caleb and Zach to see.  That makes them feel a part of their lives.  So it is a win win.
My extremely tall nephew just arrived home off his mission.  We are sooo glad to have him home!

Marshall and I had an exhilarating (you be the judge if that is the right word to use) experience and delegated responsibility of putting a message on the popular overpass close to home.  We were on top of this overpass, concentrating on the message we were "cupping into the fence", while big rigs would honk, use their air breaks, and other cars and trucks would honk.  My goodness!  What a......THRILL?  Now by thrill, I don't mean totally awesome, but rather like, just got off an amusement ride, thrill.  The adrenaline of those HUGE trucks coming towards you (mind you this is an extremely LOW overpass), feels like your about to be hit by a mac truck with the horn blazing. Trying to focus while this is happening on a near invisible fence, is like nothing else.  But we did it and it was a success.  Here was the end result:
The kids had parent teacher confrence and the teachers had to make up things to put as their goals.  What a happy mom, that made me.  I am so happy with their focus at school and in what matters in life.  So happy they have their daddy's genius in those cute little brains of theirs.
Rylie learned how to whistle and has apparently come out of her shy-shell.  Although she seems to almost pass out from the rapid inhaling and blowing of her whistling, it seems like she is long winded and content to continue.  ;)  She is so bubbly and fun, but with that comes a very demanding mommy attitude that I am constantly adjusting to.  Her brothers take it with a grain of salt as she tries to get them to adopt her motherly ways as well.  She is a riot to watch.  Life is good.
